How long before listing allows products to be purchased after items shipped to warehouse?

I just sent in a shipment of items to restock a listing that ran out of stock. What event during shipping triggers the listing to provide an "expected" date to customers and allow them to purchase the item?

Hi @Seller_g3E4GcIzwdvfs, good question! Are you enrolled in In-Stock Head Start? Amazon predicts when these products will be restocked based on shipment information and past replenishment cadence and those products are made available for sale.

If you are not enrolled in this, it may be that your items are being received at the fulfillment center. Units are available for sale as soon as they are received. However, because units may be sent to other fulfillment centers closer to customers, it can take up to 18 days for received units to be available for immediate shipping, so customers are shown an extended delivery time-frame.
