I have been using Amazon barcodes for many years. Recently, I started having the manufacturer print the UPC codes and barcodes directly on the popular item packages. However, it seems that Amazon FBA warehouses are not accepting the UPC barcodes. My products are simple pet tags with no batteries or hazardous materials. What steps do I need to take to update the settings for the items that are using manufacture barcodes?
Hi @Seller_vshPEKSeyGkW0,
Are your barcode settings still set to Amazon barcodes? As noted on the FBA product barcode requirements help page:
By default, we use the manufacturer barcode to track eligible inventory throughout the fulfillment process, unless you change your barcode setting or your product is not eligible.
I would check there first if you haven't already!
