Account Deactivated - How to retrive my held funds
Account has been deactivated since 2025. I have submitted all requested documents however previous invoices/receipts that were once accepted are no longer accepted. I have came to terms that I will be closing my business with Amazon. I have held funds with Amazon but there is no way to re-activate my profile in order to delete my seller profile and retrieve my funds. I want to close my store and dispose of any inventory held by FBA but i cannot do anything due to my account being deactivated. How do i proceed?

If your documents do not work to authentic the items you were selling, you will not receive any funds. You cannot close a store that was deactivated. You have to address the violation(s) to reactivate to then close.

You can't close a suspended store, so forget that unless you can get reactivated.
To do that you will need to have an LOA from the BRAND saying that you were an authorized seller AND invoices from AUTHORIZED wholesale distributors.
Since you don't appear to have those things you won't be able to close it.
On top of that, you WILL continue to be charged storage fees for all that inventory until it is finally disposed of.
IF you are able to, downgrade to an individual account if you have not done so to stop the $40/month fee. I don't know if a suspended account can do that or not.
Without the LOA and proper invoices you will NEVER get the money in the account since you have no chain of custody and no proof of authenticity.

NEVERLThe advice about the Chain of Custody deadlock is valid, but telling a seller whose account has been dormant since 2023 to just get a Letter of Authorization now is practically impossible. Amazon will not accept a newly issued retroactive LOA for supply chain gaps that occurred three years ago. Since the invoices were previously accepted and are now flagged upon secondary manual re-verification, your issue is likely an Altered Document or Verifiability Supply Chain Check failure at the root level. Amazon's internal risk assessment system flags these as Section 3 Counterfeit or Fraud, which triggers a permanent hold on both your funds and inventory disposal requests to comply with anti-counterfeiting policies. To break this dead-end, you need to stop focusing on standard appeal buttons and follow a rigorous audit path: 1. Request an Inventory Ledger Audit: File a specialized request specifically for an Inventory Ledger and Removal Order Exception Request via the Captive Team. Proving that the inventory itself poses zero safety hazards can sometimes trigger a disposal override, stopping the continuous storage fee bleed. 2. Supply Chain Reconstruction: Instead of resubmitting the same rejected receipts, you must provide the underlying raw ledger including wire transfers, proof of delivery like BOL or POD, and formal supplier verification logs that link directly to the original manufacturer. 3. Executive Funds Exception Escalation: Standard Seller Support cannot release funds flagged under historical authenticity reviews. If the 90-day post-deactivation period has passed since 2023, your path lies strictly through the Virtual Identity and Document Verification queue or a direct formal demand framework showing zero intent to defraud the marketplace. Downgrading to the Individual plan stops the monthly subscription, but do not mistake that for fixing the inventory liquidation clock. Act on the raw data chain, not the narrative.

Sorry to hear you are facing this tough issue.
You do not need to successfully reinstate your account to claim held funds or arrange FBA inventory disposal.
Keep submitting cases to Seller Support, clearly state you will no longer pursue account reinstatement, and only request fund release and inventory processing. Consistent follow-up with support is essential in this situation. Wish you all the best.
