Temporary closure of the LIT1 fulfillment center
Just received this email. Looks like the facility is unsafe and our inventory is stuck there until further notice. On the email there is a link to see what inventory is there. I've been burned in the past with email scams and try not to click most links. Anyone else receive this email? Is there a way to see what inventory is still there without clicking the link?

Hello,
We wanted to let you know that we have temporarily closed the LIT1 fulfillment center to perform a building assessment after the structural engineering firm that designed the building notified us of design errors. We've been working with third-party experts to conduct the building assessment and determine if we need to make any modifications. Like with any inspection, it can take time and, as a result, the building will remain closed until it is complete.
Our records indicate you have inventory stored at this facility. We recognize this may have an impact on your business and are working as quickly as possible to resolve the situation. We'll let you know as soon as we're able to resume operations. You can review the current location of your inventory and confirm what's stored at LIT1 using the Inventory Ledger report.
If you have shipments in transit to LIT1, we'll redirect them to another fulfillment center to process your inventory, and any new shipments will not be impacted. If you have available inventory stored in other fulfillment centers across our network, your listing will remain sellable. To keep track of your inventory levels and view replenishment recommendations, go to Restock Inventory report.
We've adjusted your capacity limits and ASIN restrictions to account for this disruption. If you're concerned that you may not have enough inventory to meet customer demand, you can send additional inventory. We'll continue to monitor your Inventory Performance Index (IPI) to ensure that your capacity limits aren't negatively influenced during this period. To view your IPI and capacity limits, go to the FBA Dashboard.
You may see monthly storage fees or aged inventory surcharges associated with affected inventory during the closure period. If this occurs, we'll issue you a refund within one month of the charge date.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this time."

i got this message about two hours ago and apparently over 2000 itend/diff skus are stranded there on Black Friday weekend. What will Amazon do about this? They already shut all of my listings off accidentally last week. This is an insane company to deal with.

Go to Menu/Reports/Fulfillment/Inventory Ledger
Summary view, fulfillment center (put LIT1 in the FC box), Disposition - sellable, aggregate report weekly, and date range last week.

Yes, we received this email too.
To check what inventory you have at LIT1, go to Seller Central > Fulfillment > Inventory Ledger. Select “View Online,” enter LIT1 in the FC field, and choose a recent date range such as “Last 3 days.”
For us, the report shows the same few SKUs with the same quantities repeated each day. I suppose we're fortunate that only about $1,000 of our inventory (at our cost) is currently at LIT1 and not available for sale while the facility is closed.
ETA: Local press reports say that the facility has been closed since October 22 because of "rare seismic activity" not accounted for in the building's design.

Hello @Seller_W1tFzATWCqDHQ. Thank you for checking in with the seller forums.
As you can see, other sellers have received that email, and I can confirm that Amazon did send sellers an email with that message yesterday.
It is always good to be careful, though. Did the information provided by @Seller_iobipI6xASRkh and @Seller_xo4Akj7FBBnfC help you find that information, or do you still need assistance?

I didn't get any email like this but did notice about 20% of my stock went into "FC Transfer" in one go. Maybe it was the units housed there? Idk
Seller_W1tFzATWCqDHQ
Looks like we only have 3 units at LIT1.
Thank you everyone for your responses. Appreciate all of you.

This closure won't affect anyone too much since the units are spread out all over the country. It's a structural issue with this building. It doesn't meet structural code, and someone has to pay to fix it.
Amazon is treating the current employees there well.
"Pay and benefits: Amazon is providing full pay for scheduled shifts during the closure, as well as six months of medical benefits for affected employees.
Transfer opportunities: The company is also offering transfer benefits to other Amazon facilities"
LIT1 is in Little Rock, Arkansas and it happens to be in a seismic zone, the New Madrid Seismic Zone. It's not sinking into the ground, splitting in half, invaded with killer hornets, or anything like that. Our items are safe until they get moved out. Unless there's an earthquake. The structural engineers screwed up and it doesn't meet earthquake code. They will fix it. But there's another FC LIT3 opening in 2027. The engineers made serious very expensive errors. The company spent something like $310,000,000 on this facility and can't use it.

It seems odd that I just received this email today. Every single unit I have there was from a September shipment and transferred there on October 19th, 3 days before it closed :(

Is there an action plan to remove the existing stock in this warehouse? Or pay the sellers?
