You can ship dangerous goods with our Partnered Carrier program from April 30, 2026
Starting April 30, 2026, dangerous goods, or hazmat, can be shipped domestically in the US through our Partner Carrier program.
Previously, the Partner Carrier program only allowed certain lithium battery products to be shipped. Now the program is expanding to all FBA-eligible dangerous goods.
The Partner Carrier program makes it easy to ship your US FBA shipments through a single simplified process for all carrier and eliminates the need to coordinate with multiple carriers.
Dangerous goods shipping is available for small parcel, less than truckload (LTL), intermodal, and full truckload (FTL) shipping modes.
To ship dangerous goods inventory, go to Send to Amazon and take the following steps during shipment creation:
- Choose your inventory to send. You can select both dangerous and non-dangerous goods.
- Select Amazon partnered carrier for parcel or freight shipping mode selection.
- Continue with the Send to Amazon workflow as instructed.
