Read onlyI was excited to try the AWD feature for inventory management, but it was a terrible decision. I shipped 95 boxes of units to AWD (21 units in each box), with proof from my shipper all 95 boxes were delivered. AWD only "located" 87 boxes, which means they lost 8 of 95 boxes, or 8.42% of the total shipment.
Just a guess, but very few businesses will turn a profit if 8.4% of their shipment to AWD goes missing. FBA inventory losses are bad, but at least there is a mechanism for potential reimbursement. I have learned that is not so with AWD shipments. And it took quite a while to tell me nothing would be done.
For me, the downsides far outweigh any benefit of AWD.
