After Amazon Spring Sales March 2025, did the AD Sales or AD console acting different.

Hello Everyone,

We’ve recently encountered an issue with our Amazon Advertising campaigns following the conclusion of the Spring Sales event. Specifically, we’ve noticed that our ad spend is no longer being fully utilized. For example, we’ve allocated a $300 daily budget to one campaign, but it suddenly stopped spending the full amount despite our optimizations.

We’ve already taken several measures, including:

Increasing bid amounts

Adjusting placements

Expanding keyword targeting

Raising overall campaign budgets

Despite these changes, the campaigns still fail to use the full allocated spend, which in turn has negatively impacted our sales performance.

We’ve reached out to Amazon Support and SAS. The only suggestion we received was to increase bids, which we had already done. According to them, no issues are present on their end. Even some saying they had no idea there was Spring Sale from Amazon.

Has anyone else experienced a similar drop in ad spend utilization or performance post-Spring Sale? We’re interested in hearing if others are facing the same challenges or have found any workarounds.

Best regards,

Hello @Seller_gePD7TFazrkcF- and thanks for checking in with other advertisers on the forums to see if this experience had any wider impact. I hope my commenting will help drive some traction to the post so other sellers can weigh in!

I wanted to check and see if you've witnessed this experience improve in the days since creating this post? If not, this Advertising help page on Budget rules has a section towards the bottom on rules for special events, in case there's a chance that an event rule from the Big Spring Sale could be impacting overall campaign budget. You may also find value in this page on Portfolio level budgets if you haven't reviewed yet.

I hope this helps, or even better, that you've already found a resolution!

Thanks,

Danny
