New "Session Timeout Feature" needs options to opt out/extend activity period wait

So I've been experiencing this problem for more than about 2 weeks (at least) but you've finally admitted it to the public:

To enhance the security of your account, we have implemented a new session timeout feature. If there is no activity detected for 5 minutes, your session will automatically expire. If your session times out, you will need to log in again to continue. We understand this may be an adjustment and appreciate your understanding as we prioritize the safety of your account and information.

This needs a settings button to either turn this off entirely or a way to extend the session timeout length. It leads to continuous 400 Bad Request Request Header Or Cookie Too Large errors which is MADDENING. I become active in some windows (that I'm using) and locked out of other windows that I was not, at which point I cannot log out to log back in IN ANY WINDOW (400 cookie error).
I've done all the normal IT things on my end, dns cache flush, reset of modem/router, delete cookies etc. It happens when the system thinks the chrome tab has timed out. It happens repeatedly all day long.

I've not seen this, but 5 minutes is WAY too short. Whether I'm creating listings, or packing sold items, there are parts of the normal process that can easily exceed 5 minutes.
Hopefully we can get some sort of options for this; at least be able to set the time to 30 minutes or even longer.

Five minutes is insane. Obviously, Amazon thinks we are all figments of their AI universe and don't need to think or make changes.
I hate these ALMOST as much as I hate all the '2 step verification' junk but hackers are getting more and more sophisticated.
I'm pretty happy I live in an area where I still have my own well and am not connected to any water supply systems...
