So I sell seeds harvested from our farm (mostly flowers and wildflowers, some blackberries. anyway for a while these all were fine on amazon. then a cold dark day came and one email came in saying ,
" product has been identified as a noxious weed in the state of Louisiana. Although permissible for listing on Amazon, these products are not permitted to be sold into Louisiana because of Louisiana state law. If you disagree with this determination, please update the product detail page with the scientific name and common name of your plant "
Oh no i thought to my self. I urgently tried to fix everything they said; update detail pages, images, call support. now we are 90 days out; the great majority of my products are now geographically restricted for sale in at least one state. my hard work of slaving to amazon has been brought to an unseemingly abrupt end because there is no staff that is trained to help with this. beep boop beep boop bop bee boo. scary if this is the foreshadow of our future.
as a seller at amazon, and ill say the same for facebook; there is no words I can label the frustration around all of this lack of help. an actual joke of a support team you have back there putting themselves on mute and not handling calls btw. i would like to see something civil come from the hardship this has caused; surely the few of us posting about noxious weed are just a few of the more outspoken ones representing an unfortunate large number of sellers. you should be ashamed, everyone on support team back there and everyone aware of the noxious weed problem. (amazon weeding out their competition diabolically)
