Ad PPC Payment Change-April 15 - No warning
I'm not sure this small business will survive this if implemented across the board....
And, this message is so disingenuous...there is no "manual payment" when a credit card is required for PPC, and there is no "better cash flow" when there is no ability to have "float"... basically there won't be cash flow... As for "uninterrupted service"... what does this even mean?
And the irony is the "pro small business" ads now running on tv...

Just received this email as well, but mine was worded a little bit differently. Anyways, same context. I am confused about whether using a credit card to pay for ads will still be an option? My email basically said they will switch our payment to be deducted from selling proceeds automatically unless we switch to "Pay by Invoice" before April 15th. Pay by invoice would be one big bill I'd have to ACH transfer from bank.
As a seller who spends significant amount of money on ads every month, not being able to pay by credit card would be a huge blow, as we earn 2% cash back on our credit card transactions. Spending $1M+ on Amazon Ads every year you can see how that can add up to a significant amount of cash back.
Between the DD+7 transition and not being able to pay by credit card, talk about a massive blow to cash flow.
Can anyone from Amazon Ads confirm if paying by credit card will still be an option after 4/15?

We haven't received an email about this yet. If this is taking place in 9 days across all accounts, it would be nice to know asap as it'll be a huge change to our cash forecasting.
Loosing the ability to pay by credit card is terrible for small businesses.

"automatically deducted from your retail proceeds"
It has always been like this for me. The whole eight years I sell on Amazon.

This is definitely a huge blow to many Amazon businesses. Its just one after another this year. We'll definitely be scaling back our Amazon Ads spend and put this spend into other marketplaces.

Just think before Amazon started listing manipulation there used to be zero need to run ads! Amazon created a need for ads so items sell instead of the old natural way where actual search worked now many listing will not even show up when customer search total crap would never pay for an ad just out of principal!

Stop doing Amazon ads and FBA. You are already giving away too much to Amazon in their 15% commission.

Oh I see, rather than hitting your net proceeds they're charging your gross sales.

"Better cash flow" when it is the exact opposite effect and they were not shamed at all putting that into that "this change means"

DD+7 Payouts only profits Amazon.
3.5% fulfillment surage only profits Amazon.
No more paying adspend using credit card ONLY PROFITS AMAZON.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH AMAZON. you are squeezing every last penny out of a rock. We are planning on slowly reducing our staff with the conscious decision to scale down Amazon and push towards greener pasture in the upcoming 1-3 year timeframe.
