Read onlyHello fellow sellers,
Amazon recently opened the new Amazon Haul platform (only on mobile app) just a few days ago, and I’ve already encountered an issue with a copycat seller selling my patented product. Normally, I’d report this through the Brand Registry (Report a Violation) page, but it requires the ASIN, which the Amazon Haul page doesn’t display.
If anyone has figured out how to address violations on Haul or has tips for finding the ASIN, please share! Also, for those with brand, trademark, patents, or unique products, keep an eye on Amazon Haul listings to ensure no sellers are violating intellectual property rights.
Thanks in advance for any advice or insights!
Hello @Seller_X9KGSa7FVPcrb,
My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and I am happy to assist. This is the first Haul question that I have come across here, so thanks for asking it.
While I work to identify how you can obtain the ASIN, there is a workflow that you can do in the app. Under the "Product details," on the app you will see a link titled "Report an Issue with this product or seller." a pop-up screen will ask you what is wrong and give you a drop down menu to choose from. If you select "This product or content is illegal, unsafe or suspicious," you will then be able to choose from 4 options that include it uses your IP without your permission or that it is counterfeit. Once you select that there is a text box where you can provide relevant details.
Once you have done that, please let me know here. If you are provided a case or complaint ID, please provide that as well.
Best, Dougal
