I recently opened a single-member US LLC to manage my Amazon US business. When trying to update this information in my tax interview, here is what happens:

1- Per Amazon instructions, I am forced to select my registration as an "Individual" because the LLC is single-member and therefore a disregarded entity. I am not able to choose "Business".

2- When selecting "Individual", I have to answer whether I am a US citizen or not. I am not. A disregarded entity such as a single-member LLC is also not considered a US person, but could be a US entity. The form does not lead to a way of me informing this.

3- When selecting that I am not, it will not ask for my US LCC info, only my own. And I can only use my home country's address and mailing info. Due to this, I cannot edit my country in the business information area in the legal entity section.

4- I have already tried answering by saying not a citizen and adding my US business info as my mailing address. It created a verification step which was denied even though I shared my business documentation with the US address on it.

5- I have already tried saying yes to being a citizen as a test to see where it would take me and by doing this was able to add my LLC's EIN and address, but it was also denied.

6- The W8 form says the following things to be taken into account:

- Do NOT use this form if: You are a beneficial owner claiming that income is effectively connected with the conduct of trade or business within the United States (other than personal services).

It says form W-8ECI should be used intead. Amazon gives no path that leads to this form instead.

7- The simple W8 form has been approved, but now I cannot change my legal entity's information to use my LLC's data which I need to be linked to this account for insurance and other purposes.

Please @CR_Amazon@Connor_Amazon @Micah_Amazon @Emet_Amazon can you help me? I have opened more than one ticket on the subject. The most recent being ID17509757591. What I need solved is:

- In this specific case of a single-member LLC owned by a foreigner, is W8 the appropriate Tax form? Shouldn't it somehow lead to W-8ECI instead?

- Mainly, I need to change the country, address and EIN of my business in legal entity to match my LLC and currently cannot do it as the country change is blocked.

I appreciate the assistance. Generally support is giving me AI answers that are not being helpful and are not solving this issue.
