📣 Tell the Team (Pt. 2): Action Center in the New Seller Central
Hello Sellers,
Welcome to the second post in our "Tell the Team" series, where the team building the new Seller Central hears directly from you. If you missed the first post, we're collecting your feedback on Navigation here: 📣 Tell the Team: Navigation in the New Seller Central.
This week's focus: Action Center, the section designed to surface what needs your attention when you log in.
Based on what you tell us here and in the Navigation post, we'll be publishing our first "✅ You Spoke, We Built" update next week showing what's already being addressed from your feedback. So don't hold back.
🗣️ Tell the team:
- What's showing up in your Action Center that isn't relevant to your business?
- What's missing that should be front and center?
- Are the right things being flagged as urgent? What's being overcalled or undercalled?
- What do you actually want to see first when you log in?
The team building Action Center reads every response here. Your feedback directly shapes what gets prioritized next.
Here's how Action Center works:
Two types of cards:
- Action Cards — things you need to do. These are required tasks tied to your account or catalog health, like shipping orders, responding to messages, or fixing suppressed listings.
- Recommendation Cards — things worth considering. These are optional opportunities for growth or efficiency, like enrolling in FBA, creating A+ content, or matching a competitive price.

Criticality badges tell you how urgent something is:
- 🔴 Critical — not completing this could result in account deactivation
- 🟡 Medium — not completing this could result in a listing being deactivated or put you in violation of terms
- ⚪ Low — general compliance reminder

You're in control of your list: Not every card will be relevant to you — and that's okay. You can hide cards and leave feedback on them to refine what shows up.
- Action Cards are temporarily hidden for 7 days
- Recommendation Cards are hidden permanently
Want to bring something back? Go to See More → Hidden to view and unhide recommendation cards.

It adapts to where you are: Action Center is contextually aware. What you see changes depending on which workspace you're in. If you're in Products, you'll see product-related tasks. If you're in Orders, you'll see order-related tasks.
📣 Series so far: Navigation | Action Center (you're here)
Next up: Workspaces. And remember, our first "✅ You Spoke, We Built" update drops next week. Keep the feedback coming. 👇

Get rid of it. We dont need a popup on the side bar. Everything needs to be within seller central like it is now.
Side bar popups are so annoying.
Just like the alexa shopping pop up.
If you do force it down our pie hole, which I assume is happening, make sure we can turn it off for good.
We just need simple access to the stuff we need, JUST LIKE WE HAVE NOW.

Again my ADHD brain see this as annoying. Way too may click ins just to do 1 job. I would like to keep my current seller central.

I like it. Can you throw in a shipping bar? Show me which shipments incoming shipments haven't updated in two weeks, alerts for what hasn't moved from checked in to delivered or delivered to receiving. How mmany units were moved into fc transfer and how long ago, or staging. Make it easy to report problems by pushing a button instead of having to file a case. Maybe look at why sellers contact support the most and make it easy to report a problem in one place.

1) "Feedback" needs to be right up front so we can immediately note and respond to it.
2) Why are our sales now meted out by the day/hour rather than the week/month??? No one wants to know what their sales have been for the last 30 days, we want to know how our sales are faring in OCTOBER, SEPTEMBER, etc. vs. last year. What are our sales this week vs. last week vs. last year. These long jagged lines are absolutely WORTHLESS.
3) Where the hell is Seller Central anyway? Did you send us any kind of notice that you were moving the entire thing to a different website? Some NOTICE might have been helpful for your employees!
4) All these new lists of things I can do on Seller Central are completely useless to me. I do not care AT ALL about my "Marketing" or "Supply Chain" (whatever that is). GET RID of all this extraneous garbage.
5) Why is Amazon constrantly "upgrading" elements without any seller input? This whole site looks like it's been designed by people who have never spend a day selling on Amazon.

Is this mandatory Seller Assistant page really a feature designed by humans??? Why did you completely remove the original Case page and force everyone to use Seller Assistant? Tasks that used to take just one step now have to go through five steps with this dumb AI Seller Assistant. Do you force everyone to be as inefficient as your engineers just because your team is slow?

Sellers writing their comments to Amazon is the same as a child writing a letter to Santa.

ODTR calculations are not correct. We had an issue where the system was making shipping date and delivery date estimates without regard to our shipping cutoff times and it also does not accurately calculate shipping estimates on carrier business days. I have a 3pl so I cannot use amazon buy shipping so this matters. Also the AI does not allow you to interact with it and it is extremely slow. I want to make and save report. I still can't find any reports. I hate that i have to use an ai seller assistant instead of getting help on serious issues with categories or stranded shipping in fba. We do have some inventory fba and some fbm. The reports on the top left were dumbed down and I cannot find anything.

All I need is the Global Snapshot with it's clickable numbers and Actions from how the old site was set up. Easy to see and easy navigate. All of these other things can be below if it must be on the page. Under actions, I assume if somethin critical was happening, it'd show up there. I don't need all the other things front and center.

New seller central is an atrocity at absolute best. The old 1 is much more user friendly, and I will be screwed once you guys finally force us to stay using that terrible page some coders who haven't a clue the needs of sellers built. It truly seems like amazon works against its sellers, caters to all customers, allows fraud, as long as customers are happy its all good, meanwhile you hurt the people who are the core of your business, its absurd
