It’s time for a little trivia time in the Listing Lounge! We know that many of you sell used products here at Amazon but are you using the proper condition guidelines? Today we are going to put that knowledge to the test.

Proper product condition reporting is important as it serves two essential purposes:

1. Customer Satisfaction: Buyers can shop confidently, knowing exactly what to expects
2. Seller Protection: Accurate condition descriptions help prevent A-Z claims and chargebacks

Please Note: Some products on Amazon can only be listed as "New." When creating listings for certain items, you won't see options for "Used," "Open Box," "Collectible," or "Refurbished" conditions because the item can only be sold on Amazon as "New." Always check the available condition options for the specific product category you are trying to list in before buying products.

I am going share the condition type definition and you need to match it to the proper condition definition... READY??? 🧐

Condition 1: The product has minimal to no signs of wear, no visible cosmetic imperfections when held 12 inches away, and may arrive in a brown or white box with relevant accessories that may be generic. The product comes with a warranty giving you a replacement or refund within 90 days of purchase if the product does not work as expected.

Is this condition:

• A. USED - LIKE NEW/OPEN BOX
• B. RENEWED
• C. USED - ACCEPTABLE

Condition 2: The item is fairly worn but continues to function properly. Item may arrive with damaged packaging or be repackaged. Signs of wear can include aesthetic issues such as scratches, dents, and worn corners. The item may have identifying markings on it or show other signs of previous use.

• A. COLLECTIBLE
• B. USED - ACCEPTABLE
• C. RENTAL

Condition 3: A product that was inspected and graded by a qualified supplier (a seller, vendor, or by Amazon) in working condition with no structural imperfections that could impact the functionality. The products may be packaged in a generic box and come with relevant accessories as expected for a new product. Any exceptions to this condition description will be mentioned on the product detail page.

• C. NEW

Condition 4: The item shows wear from consistent use, but it remains in good condition and functions properly. Item may arrive with damaged packaging or be repackaged. It may be marked, have identifying markings on it, or have minor cosmetic damage.

• B. USED - VERY GOOD
• C. USED - GOOD
