Media Mail Shipping Option Disappeared
For no reason, the option for Media Mail shipping has disappeared. Does anyone have any idea as to why? My only options now are First Class and Priority Mail??? Is there a glitch with Amazon shipping due to the holiday weekend?

Amazon does sometimes have anomalies with shipping options and holiday weekends.
Best advice, just go ahead and use PirateShip, Stamps, etc. Otherwise you have to wait and see with Amazon.

- What is your shipping transit time?
- What are your business hours set to? Days of Week? Weekend? Holidays? (In other words, are you open 24/7 7 days a week?)

I've not packed anything today, so not sure about today, but in the past when MM was not an option on a Sunday, changing the "Ship Date" to Monday usually made it reappear (may take changing to Tuesday, since Monday is a holiday).

If you click on all options Media Mail is there and meets the expected timeline for delivery yet Amazon has blacked it out. Media Mail is what the customer purchased as their option. Amazon needs to get on the stick and fix this issue.

Did you ever get this figured out? Same thing is happening to me on SKU's that I normally send out Media Mail. Even after I set ship date for tomorrow, and confirm to the bottom of list that it would make it by delivery date, it's saying this option is not available for this order...This started happenin sometime Saturday night..

I just bought shipping for 6 books to be mailed tomorrow. I was given the Media mail option for 5 but not the 6th. I checked and it was correctly classified as a book. It was an older book and didn't have an ISBN. Somebody yesterday suggested that that could be a factor.

I sometimes have this problem with items selling on the West Coast as I live on the East Coast.
If I ship the same day, no problem but over the weekend/holiday it can cause Media Mail not to show up. I can stretch my days out for the West coast but my sales are better leaving it as is.
I normally ship the same day anyway so for the few that don't I use Shipstation which is connected to my Paypal account.

This could be the issue.
We can not ship on Sundays or Holidays therefore we have our store listed as closed on Sundays and Holidays. Amazon sees that and adjusts the Estimated Delivery Time which helps keep USPS First Class Package mail available for us over the weekend and Holidays. We would image this could help with Media Mail also.
