A-to-z Claim granted, seller funded. Filed Appeal. States I proved delivery...seller funded ANYWAY?

Can any mods help with this? I sufficiently proved delivery per Amazon rep, via delivery image matching the delivery address, but yet I still have to fund it??

Seller-funded: Jul 1

Order Defect Rate (ODR) impacted: No

Appeal by: Jul 31

Order ID: 113-0015245-4713051

Product Amount: USD 74.30

Claim date: July 1, 2024

Why is this happening?

The customer reported an issue with delivery. In this case, the tracking information indicates delivered, but the customer did not receive the package. Because you provided sufficient information that proves order was actually received by the customer, we will not count the claim against your Order Defect Rate.

So, it sounds like you did not use Amazon Buy Shipping. When you don't use Amazon Buy Shipping and the buyer states they did not receive their package, you automatically pay for the reimbursement. These days they seem to not count it against your ODR, they used to also count it against your ODR in such circumstances. If you had used Amazon Buy Shipping, I think Amazon would have funded it themselves. If you did indeed use Amazon Buy Shipping and have a physical scan no later than the ship by date, then I am surprised that they didn't cover the cost of the A-Z.

Unfortunately we have a unique situation with FedEx where our Resi and Commercial accounts are separate. We still use the commercial account with Amazon Buy Shipping services, but for residential we can't (you can only have a single FedEx account tied to Amazon Buy Shipping.) In this case it was Resi.

But the INR coverage with Buy Shipping services is supposed to be benefit of doubt without needing to prove delivery byond what tracking states; always Amazon funded when criteria is met. However without Buy Shipping INR claims are supposed to be covered if you sufficiently prove delivery, which in this case we did and Amazon acknowledged that.

Amazon has altered the deal. Be grateful they don't alter it further.
