Competitive pricing is critical for success on Amazon, but how do you keep your prices fresh?
Automate pricing is a fast, convenient way to make price updates. Maintain sharp prices by setting up automatic rules. Identify the maximum (optionally) and minimum price limits you’re comfortable with, and Automate Pricing will automatically adjust your prices within their prescribed range.
Let’s say you want to peg your price to the Featured Offer price. When the Featured Offer price changes, Automate pricing ensures that your price matches, exceeds, or beats the Featured Offer price by an amount or percentage that you specify, within your min and max. If you do not set a maximum price, Automate Pricing will protect customer trust on your behalf by ensuring that your offers are not priced significantly higher than recent prices so that your offers remain eligible to become the Featured Offer.
Once you create a rule, apply this rule to a single listing or a number of listings. If you manually update your price, or stop Automate Pricing, we list the price you last set. You don’t need to automate your entire catalog.
You can manage your SKUs either with the Automate Pricing tool, or using the Automate Pricing file. Please also reference my colleague @Seller_l7Jtck9jxnEA0's post, for ways to set up minimum pricing and avoid pricing mistakes or errors:
