Hi,
We sold the book that claimed as "inauthentic" on 5 October 2022. (this is the last time of selling this book)
Order ID: 112-0828045-5182608
Book was sold as used. We explained in description that book is paperback, also mentioned condition, publishing house etc. (we added screenshot of seller notification email to appeal)
However, the customer didn't read this. After getting the book they demanded return. We refunded their payment without return.
On the other hand, they accused us that the book is "inauthentic". At that time, we explained issue to Amazon and nothing happened.
However, we got deactivation email on October 2024(2 years later) that is related with this book.
We attached invoice from supplier to our appeal. We don’t have invoice that is issued in last 365 days because we didn’t sell this book since 2022. Therefore, we attached invoice that was issued before 2022.
We just forgot to delete the book from inventory. (it was in inactive status since 2022)
However, Amazon didn't reactivate our account. They said we didn't give enough information but we uploaded invoice.
We couldn't understand this deactivation process. We didn’t violate Amazon rules at no time. We never sell any book that isn't original. We are selling on Amazon since 2016, we never get any claim like this. (our feedback rate is %97 that is better than most seller)
Does anyone face something like this? Any suggestions or advice?
Thanks in advance.

Hello @Seller_TSku4Xul374qb,
I hear how frustrated you feel due to not really understanding the reason for the account deactivation.
I truly want to help you. For greater detail concerning your specific situation, please provide an ASIN, Case ID or Performance Notification. With that information and the help from an internal team, I am able to research your concern.
A couple help documents for you to review: Prevent product condition complaints and Amazon Anti-Counterfeiting Policy - these are for future reference.
I look forward to your response. Thank you for reaching out on the Forums.

The sad part is Amazon considers any item left in Inventory, either active or inactive, when applying it's logic. Just having it still there is an issue.
In the past Amazon has followed a different set of criteria for items in the Books category, and if that's changed it should be published openly as a News Article so that everyone selling any book older than 1-2 years can delete those from inventory.
Same with Comics ... ALL Collectibles ... or anything vintage.
As to what to do now .....
1. I'm surprised the option to just accept the violation and move on wasn't presented
2. Was your supplier fully legit, or did you buy from a book sale or the like?
3. Keep supplying whatever you have and write a good PoA to go with it. Post here for advice on it.
