Inventory Capacity for New Sellers Before First Product Launch

Hello everyone,

I am a new seller who has not launched my first product yet. I am planning to sell a standard-size product (a drawstring bag) via FBA. When I check the Capacity Monitor under the FBA dashboard, it indicates there is currently no inventory limit for standard-size products.

I would like to understand:

Is there a default inventory capacity for new sellers who have not yet launched their first product?

Should I rely on the “no limit” indication in the Capacity Monitor, or are there hidden or unlisted restrictions I should be aware of as a new seller?

Does Amazon impose stricter limits on new sellers after the first product is launched, or is this based purely on sales performance and account history?

I want to make sure I’m not overestimating how much inventory I can send in before my first product goes live. Any advice or insights from experienced sellers would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Please stay reasonnable. You are a new seller. Your product will appear on page 30 without reviews and ratings. And all you are wondering about is if Amazon will allow you to send a truckload full of drawstring bags? Are you aware that you will pay storage fees?

Also, the competition is not small, that keyword shows over 6000 results. Don't worry about how much you can send but how much you can sell!
