Amazon suspended me for a duplicate account I don’t recognize – how can I resolve this?

Hi everyone,

I recently received a notification from Amazon stating that my seller account has been suspended due to a supposed connection with another account called “Arwe+stock.” Amazon claims that I can no longer sell because of this “duplicate account,” but I have no connection to it and am the sole owner of my business.

I’ve tried to appeal, explaining that I don’t know or have any relationship with this other account, and even offered to provide personal documentation (ID, business license) to prove my identity and ownership. I haven’t received a response yet, and I’m worried about my funds being held and the impact on my business.

Has anyone experienced this issue before? What steps did you take to prove there was no connection with the other account? Any advice on how to handle this situation with Amazon would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance for your help.

You created a seller account some time ago with the SAME seller name. Now you have to reactivate this previous account. this previous account violated the policy and you have to "address" this violation an resolve the problem and that previous account will be reactivated. Then you can properly close the first account.

The Artificial Intelligence sees any move you do on internet, not only in relation with Amazon. Maybe you created this account with another email - but from your same wifi address and with your same same and credentials.

Amazon tells you what proofs you have to provide in case you say that you don't own and never or no longer owns this account. So you have to proove that (an impossible thing) or to reactivate your previous account.

If you don't do the one or the other your account will not be reactivated and - as you have seen now - you will not be allowed to create a seller account in your life again.

I am reviewing my account in Seller Central in Spain and I have noticed that it is deactivated. I changed my personal information because I hadn’t updated it.

Thank you for the information provided regarding the issues you have recently encountered. I understand our team has concerns regarding there being associated accounts or markets to your primary account. You mention having reviewed and identified other markets that have been impacted, have you received any updates since you submitted the requested information?

If you have other marketplaces attached to your account, and they become inactive, you will see an impact to the rest of the marketplaces you are operating in. For example, you mention Spain being impacted, this can cause the issue to the United States market. The action taken of resolving those issues is the recommended actions as the other concerns will need to be resolved for you to resolve the issues on North America. Have you verified the rest of your markets as active?

Once you receive an update on the situation, we encourage you to refer back to this thread so we may continue to review and provide guidance.

Best,

Atlas
