Seller Feedback on Amazon

This really isn't a "seller"issue as it has to do with a purchase I made on Amazon for an item that shipped from Amazon, but it makes me a little PO'd that with all the ridiculous feedback we get as Sellers, you can't leave feedback for Amazon itself. Long story short, ordered a 12-pack item from Amazon, they sent 6 (items come in cases of 6 and only got one box) Amazon asked for a picture - I sent a picture clearly showing the label and the printing on the outside of the box that showed it only contained 6 of the items. Back and forth with them by email, and they kept insisting that I "send a picture of the missing item" ???? - So I had to resort to a chargeback with my cc company. But cannot leave negative Feedback against the "mothership" -- only sellers like us.

Wasn't always the case, Amazon used to allow feedback for themselves but when it dropped to about 2.8 stars, they removed it.

Just a tip, but you can simply tell Amazon to look at the weight of the package that was scanned while in transit. The item should weigh half as much as a 12-pack. That's all the proof you should need.

Amazon would get 25 million feedbacks per day, 5 million negative

A while ago, a buyer left me negative feedback, but the feedback also mentioned Amazon. It was almost immediately removed - not struck through, removed.

At least half of my purchases made on my Amazon Prime account are delayed or screwed up by Amazon. Example; I ordered an item on a Monday and the posting said that if it was ordered within the next 4 hours (or so) it would be delivered tomorrow. After the order was placed it almost immediately changed the delivery to the day AFTER tomorrow. Then, on the new promised delivery day I received a notification that the item was delayed in transit for yet, another day.

Amazon demands that sellers adhere to their strict on-time delivery schedule and yet they are a perfect example of how NOT to make promises you can't keep.

Third party sellers seem to be much more efficient than Amazon itself, and yet we get chastised openly for late deliveries which are usually the carriers fault.
