Buy Box Suppressed – Selling Same Product 6+ Years, Amazon Captured Wrong Price
Hello Sellers & Moderators,
I need help with a serious Buy Box suppression issue on one variation of my product (ASIN: B0BLCHPWGP, King size mattress topper).
✔ Background:
I have been selling this product and all sizes (Single, Double, King, Super King) for 6–7 years with normal Buy Box rotation and standard pricing.I have always sold the King size between £24.99–£25.99 without any Buy Box problems.
✔ Current Issue (Only King Size Affected):
Suddenly, Amazon is suppressing the Buy Box for the King size only, showing the message:
“Price higher than typical.”
However:
My King price of £24.99 is normal and has been the same for years.
Many competitors are selling King size toppers at £26.99–£29.99 with active Buy Boxes.
All other variations (Single, 4FT, Double, Super King) have active Buy Boxes.
Only the King size is being suppressed incorrectly.
✔ What I Believe Happened:
It looks like Amazon’s Fair Pricing algorithm may have captured the lower price of the SINGLE size and is using that as the “typical price” benchmark for the KING size.
This would incorrectly make the King size appear “too high,” even though it is priced correctly for its size.
✔ What I Already Tried:
Opened multiple support cases
Provided screenshots
Explained that Buy Box is suppressed at all price levels, even at Amazon’s suggested £21.24
Support repeatedly replies “Your offer is featured,” but the Buy Box is not showing on the live page
This appears to be a technical mismatch between Amazon internal systems and the actual Buy Box display
✔ What I Need from Moderators / Amazon Team:
Please escalate this issue to the Pricing / Fair Pricing Team or the Featured Offer Technical Team.
This is clearly a variation-level pricing algorithm error, not a genuine pricing violation.
My costs have increased over the years, and Amazon forcing me to sell the King size at £21.24 is unrealistic — it causes a loss on every order. @Indy_Amazon @Joey_Amazon

Hi @Seller_nGa75WCkPDpkR, do you use automated pricing? I would recommend to double check these pricing settings: Go to Pricing → Manage Pricing and look for any minimum/maximum price limits you may have set.
If everything looks okay, reach out to Seller Support if you have not done so already. If you already have, please share the case ID so I may begin my investigation. If you have not, I'd suggest starting out by working with them first and being as detailed as possible in your pricing appeal.
