Product flagged as Pesticide Product
I am a new seller and I recently listed cutting boards as my product. I listed my product back in November 2024 and I made some edits to my product description today (January 2025) and after editing my listing was flagged as a pesticide product, pesticide device, or a product that contains pesticide.
I received this message “This product has been identified as a pesticide product, pesticide device, or a product that contains pesticide claims. To be considered for reinstatement, please provide evidence of an EPA Registration number and/or EPA Establishment number or a certification that the product is exempt from EPA regulations.”
i believe this is a mistake, any advice on how to go about this?

I will try and provide some general guidance. For greater detail concerning your specific situation, please provide an ASIN, Case ID or Performance Notification. With that information and the help from an internal team, I am able to research in greater detail.

Since you explained this happened after an edit, I am thinking you may have added a word that triggered this. Please review the Performance Notification you received.
If you are making any claims, such as: My product removes, inhibits, destroys, repels, traps, eliminates or mitigates the growth of odor-causing bacteria, mold, mildew, pests and/or viruses, and other similar claims - this can be the reason. Please review this: Compliance ID Attribute – Pesticide Marking
Do you have a before and after of your listing? Maybe you remember what you changed and if it is making a claim such as described above, you may want to change it back. If you do not have access to the listing to make the change, you may need to upload the changes with a feed file.

I have been recommended to remove any description that references “prevents-cross-contamination” in the response to my case ID. Unfortunately I am restricted from making any edits to my listing. I have replied with a revised version of product descriptions and removed all references to “prevents-cross-contamination”. I attached as well a revised image removing references “prevents- cross-contamination”. I am unsure if this is sufficient or how I can submit the requested changes.
As per the performance notification, I have to resolve this before Jan 4, 2025. Thank you for your assistance and looking forward to have this resolved.

I hope you can look into my case. I have submitted an appeal multiple times but its keeps getting rejected. To reinstate my listing I have to remove prohibited content from my product detail page but I am unable to make edits and my product detail page has now been removed.
