📚 Browsing the Shelves with Booksellers - Mother's Day Memories Reading with Mom 📚
Hello Sellers!
It's Mother's Day in the US on Sunday and I as I reflect on my childhood and my love of books, I think about all the books my mom read to me growing up. From Clifford the Big Red Dog to The Berenstain Bears, there are too many good ones to count. Before I went off to college, she gave me, Dr. Seuss' Oh, the Places You'll Go! with a special note that was very near and dear to my heart.
Does anyone have any similar childhood memory with their loved one or a book that sparked their love for reading as a kid?

Once on mothers day my mom yelled at me because I bought her flowers and they were not fresh telling me I wasted money. One of many warm memories.
Many people do NOT have warm feelings on mothers day and try not to think about it.
Including those that are estranged from their children

Winnie The Pooh/The House at Pooh Corner by A.A. Milne and charming original illustrations by E.H. Shepard.
Mama did all the voices, including Pooh's voice when he gets his face stuck in a honey pot and Piglet's screeches. when he thinks he's being pursued by a heffalump(elephant). As an asthmatic 3-or-4-year old, I used to laugh so hard, was exhausted!
Disney's later animation didn't do the story justice....
