Amazon Deactivated my account and not allowing to close my account

Amazon deactivated my account back in December 2023 for Restricted Products, something that I never sold before. They never provided any assistance on my appeals, and I decided to give up selling on Amazon. I tried to close my account for months and failed because of the Unfulfillable Inventory and there is still 1 not available for removal ever since they deactivated my account.

The only support option I have is related to the Account Health, every time I send a request to them, they would use the auto reply to say this is not the correct place to reach out for this request. It is the same useless message when I ask for assistance on my appeals.

They have been charging my credit card every month for aged inventory. This is ridiculous that they are refusing to provide any assistance and taking my money away! They are the one who holding my inventory for month and not allowing me to create removal order!

You can't close a suspended account. You need to get the account fixed to be able to close it but THAT won't even happen until the missing inventory is located.

Amazon has NO incentive to find it since they are collecting a fee every month! MAYBE when the holidays roll around and shelf space is at a premium they might "find" it to make room.

You mentioned this was related to a restricted product policy back in 2023, can you provide any additional information, the original deactivation notice if possible.

When it comes to the restricted product policy and a few other listing policies, simply listing the product and it being in your manage inventory can be a violation, as just listing it show an intent to sell the product. If identified as restricted it would be removed, depending on the violation or account health it can result in the deactivation of the account. This is why I requested more information on your situation so I can provide more support to possibly reactivate the account.

Regarding the inventory, was this one product related to the restricted product policy? If so, you would need to show proof of compliance or it may need to be disposed of due to the risk of releasing a restricted product that may be unsafe or unapproved.

The screenshots of the cases provided look to be surrounding the subject of closing the account, do you have any cases where you attempted to get support from the FBA teams and your inventory? Can you provide this case? This way I can ensure it's being reviewed by the appropriate teams.

As mentioned by @Seller_kIukTwdhvntAp, the account cannot be closed for two different reasons. Per our account closure process, you will not only need to ensure the account has been reactivated to a normal state but any remaining inventory needs to have a submitted removal order or disposal order.
