Default Handling Time Set to 2 days but we are getting orders for next day

Hi, I am hoping someone can help me understand why when our default handling time is set to 2 days we are getting NEXT-DAY orders? Is there a way to keep this from happening?

Have you checked your SSA and AHT?

I had the same problem. What I did was

  1. Took the ASIN of the item.
  2. Added that as NEW_SKU
  3. Now you will have TWO SKU (NEW_SKU and OLD_SKU) for the same ASIN
  4. Make the inventory of the OLD_SKU=0
  5. Set the handling time in the NEW_SKU to whatever you want. It will work till such time that amazon gives this NEW_SKU a AHT.

I had this happen to me last week. I was more or less forced to use Amazon Shipping Services and accepted that it was 40 cents higher than USPS. I was told at the time of label purchase that my package would be picked up the next day. Later in the day, I was sent a link to sign up for Amazon Shipping and had to accept a $6.90 pickup fee for this one package. Going forward, I will not use this service and question how the whole transaction came to be. Is Amazon willing to go to these lengths for a few extra dollars?
