Why is there no input from the Moderators concering fears and anxieties about DD+7
It has become another full time job, addressing all the concerns and questions about DD+7. The whole roll out is designed to create fear and uncertainty among sellers. Have I been paid for orders? Why are some payments for orders that were delivered post 7 days still showing in my reserve, while others are ready for disbursement? Is there a logic here - somewhere...? No input from the moderators, who, it should be obvious, were installed at a strategic time so many moons to offset the utter uselessness of seller support. What is a moderator anyway? A figure who steps into to calm things down. Is Amazon ever going provide sellers with actual medium that is equipped to answer all the questions sellers have about how to sell on this site without going insane?

We are trying to understand this policy better by reading everything we can find on the forums, but nothing is making any sense.
It's been a while since we've tried to reach out to those Mods we had the pleasure of meeting at Accelerate 2024

This is not a small thing for any Seller. For us we are currently well into the 5-figure range of an "account level reserve", which from all of our understanding whas supposed to be instead "deferred transactions" that are trackable from the new downloadable report in the Reports Repository.
Regardless of our opinion about this policy, we are first trying to figure out how to manage our business in this new environment. It is not at all resembling the process that was described to us. Can not Amazon and the Mods give us the common courtesy of addressing the mechanics of this policy? I can understand if you feel that the complaints are many and overwhelming. But can you please just give us the respect of an answer regarding why this is not displaying or working as Amazon detailed to us?
With great power comes great responsibility; and Amazon is wielding their power in what can easily be perceived as reckless manner, with no accountability or responsibility. Information about our revenues is being kept in secret and hidden from us at this time.
How can we please open a real discussion about this roll-out??

It's not actually designed to create fear and uncertainty. It's designed to allow Amazon to hold on to seller money a couple of weeks longer (float) w/o providing any accountablility or way for sellers to track it. So it seems to be in fact DD+10-20 in some cases.
Meanwhile Amazon is advertising itself as good for your business.

There have but you have to spend a LOT of time on the forum to find them ----
Depending on the date of the conversion you are just about to reach the first available releases.
Since @Roberto_Amazon stated this in a post on this thread -- https://sellercentral.amazon.com/seller-forums/discussions/t/c6c86eb5-846c-4f4d-8782-55e1325db288?postId=6e624011-3fd5-4127-ab63-1efd42c16d53 --
"How DD+7 Works:
For tracked shipments: Funds are released 7 days after the actual delivery date
For untracked shipments: Funds are released 7 days after the estimated delivery date
if a tracked order isn't marked delivered, funds release 7 days after the latest estimated delivery date"
IF you converted on the 12th, orders shipped would be delivered approximately around the 17th to 19th with standard shipping times. THEN add 7 more days and you get the 24th to 26th for release. It's UGLY!
It's an advanced algebra class to figure it out but Amazon CLAIMS they are working to make it more clear.
I chalk it up to just another lousy implementation by Amazon of even more AI created impediments to selling here.

It's the 26th, or was a few hours ago, and I don't have any of my money available. The spreadsheet I downloaded showed at least one order was supposed to be released on 3-26. I don't see that. All my positive balance is in Deferred status, 0.00 that I can Request, and under $10 is in negative for what will be charged on my card at the end of the period. So the only thing I know today is I can't use my amazon sales to fund my food and other bills, like I do when things get tight.
The indication of confidence from just the display of the data is they will for sure get their money at the end of the pay period but I have 0.00 coming to me. Very odd feeling. Have to rethink how I spend my efforts.

This is something I'm curious about. You're saying your settlement date changes every time you do a disbursement on demand. For instance, if my settlement date is tomorrow, but I do a disbursement today, my settlement date will change to 2 weeks from today?
I'm currently in a negative balance and this may change the way I decide to handle disbursement on demand.

They are hiding right now because they don't have any answers either. Welcome to Amazon where you spend money to make sales that you never get paid on.

To answer your last question, the answer is no but I heard the weather in the Philippines is quite lovely.

I will be putting my store on vacation mode around mid-April. My store sales toys. I am taking advantage of the Easter sales season. I will be refocusing my business through eBay. Too many scams and headaches selling on Amazon. eBay accounts for nearly as many sales with only about half the listings. DD+7 is a bridge too far.

You would think a gazillion dollar company with 6 months warning would be able to employ programmers to make this system work on day 1. But then again, we are talking Amazon . . .

If you ask about policies, you usually get an answer.'
If you ask about internal workings or internal activity, It is like Duke the Dog says on Bush's Baked Bean commercials, "I ain't Taklin".
