What is the easiest way to change the name from generic to my brand name?

I have created a listing for a product, which is inactive because I don’t have a product yet shipped to Amazon. When I created the listing i inserted the brand name as a generic. I recently applied for a trademark and now that I have the serial number, I plan to apply for Amazon brand registry.

I already purchased UPC code, but I have not used it.

What is the easiest way to change the name from generic to my brand name?

Should I delete the listing and create a new Listing or copy and change the brand name and put it UPC code that I have available?

Please suggest the best options, I’m new in Amazon Seller Central.

Thank you.

Not only you should, you MUST. BUT you have to take a new UPC from GS1.
