Changes to Seller Fulfilled Prime enrollment and delivery date settings

We’ve updated how we evaluate Seller Fulfilled Prime eligibility and how we set delivery dates to help you better manage your business.

Changes to Seller Fulfilled Prime eligibility:

  • Performance metrics will now be evaluated separately for standard size, oversize, and extra-large product size tiers.
  • Performance and eligibility in one size tier won’t affect eligibility in the other tiers.
  • You can enroll in multiple size tiers based on your fulfillment capabilities.
  • Trial period will align with weekly performance tracking (four full weeks, Sunday through Saturday).

If you're already enrolled in the program, you’ve been automatically enrolled in all product size tiers.

If you’re currently enrolled in the trial phase, your trial will continue to be evaluated at the account level. Once you successfully pass the trial, you’ll be enrolled in all product size tiers. All other Prime eligibility and program requirements remain unchanged.

We've also enhanced Shipping Settings Automation in Prime shipping templates. When enabled, customers will see specific delivery dates instead of date ranges for standard shipping orders.

You'll receive on-time delivery rate protection for 1-day delivery, 2-daydelivery, and now standard shipping items when you:

  • Enable Shipping Settings Automation in your Prime shipping template
  • Use 'OTDR Protected' shipping labels purchased[CS1] through Amazon Buy Shipping or Veeqo
  • Ship your items on time

For more information, go to Seller Fulfilled Prime performance requirements.

To use Shipping Settings Automation on your Prime Shipping templates, go to Shipping settings.

What does this mean? Do we need to fulfill 100 SFP orders per month for each size tier?

"Performance and eligibility in one size tier won’t affect eligibility in the other tiers."

This is good news and a step in the right direction.

But what 3rd Party Sellers really want is Regional Prime Shipping. Our business and warehouse are located on the East Coast and we could easily (and did) supply more than 75% of our customers with reasonably priced 2-day shipping options. However the mandate for nationwide 2-Day shipping which includes the West Coast means our East Coast customers are unable to receive the same service and our listing can't display the Prime badge.

Amazon claims to support small business? Then bring back Regional Prime Shipping options which are a win for both customers and sellers.

Is SFP still evaluating on the Page View metric, rather than OTDR metric?

We sell items which receive some of the highest page views on the entire platform, yet do not earn the buy box.

We seem to be penalized on page views criteria, though all of our packages receive free 2 Day Nationwide.

Prime Template SSA settings show 100% coverage for 2 Day on our template, yet we measure sub 80% and fail the trial.

why does it matter what size box SFP sellers ship in ? it is our product, shipping from our warehouse. We are only adhering the " PRIME " badge so we can be widly publicised at Amazon. Is this so sellers incur more Amazon fees ? How does the size of the box affect the speed of the shipment ? if i ship 18 x 12 x 10 box 2day UPS it is not going to get to its destination any faster than a 8 x 5 x 5 box? If SFP sellers have their own UPS, FEDEX account and can get equal shipping discounted rates, why would I need Amazon for shipping ?
