Need Advice: Transitioning ASIN Control from One Seller Account to Another

Hello,

I have two Amazon Seller accounts:

  • Account A: Limited to selling in North America.
  • Account B: Authorized to sell in both North America and Europe.

I have replicated my single private label product from Account A to the US marketplace in Account B, including all reviews and sales rank. However, I am unable to update the listing independently in Account B. Specifically, the Product Details, Images, Variations, Offer, and Safety & Compliance sections are not available for the ASIN in Account B.

I am the brand owner of this product, and both accounts are connected to Brand Registry with Rights Owner and Administrator permissions. I plan to close Account A once the inventory runs out and restock Account B within weeks.

Do I need to close the listing in Account A to gain full access to update the ASIN in Account B, or should I keep Account A open while trading with Account B?

Any guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Hello @Seller_gXtqCrIGGY5aW,

Michelle at Amazon here. I Account A the account that was registered as the Rights Owner with Brand Registry and Account B is just an authorized contributor? I would reach out to the Brand Registry team in a case and see what their recommendation is on how to get the rights owner transferred to your Account B if it's currently under Account A or it could cause issues with editing your items in the future.

I hope this is helpful.

Michelle
