Hello,
I'm noticing that a bunch of the orders we are shipping out today have a delivery date of Monday, May 27th - Memorial Day. UPS, FedEx, Amazon Ground, and USPS aren't delivering that day it seems. Are we about to get hit with a bunch of "late deliveries"?
How are orders coming through with May 27th as the delivery date - the shipping template is SSA enabled? What recourse will there be to have these late deliveries removed?
Are others seeing orders with May 27th as the delivery date for FBM?
Automation can have many negatives.
But not usually demanding delivery on holiday.
A few years ago Amazon put Memorial Day in March on their special Amazon Calendar (which is sold as a set with the Amazon Atlas which places Brazil in North America)
Maybe Memorial Day has already come and gone for Amazon.
Mods, am I able to get assurance that our account will be protected against late deliveries? I can't control that our SSA-enabled shipping template is giving a holiday as the delivery day on these orders, even though every carrier/delivery service setup on the SSA template is not delivering that day..
Thank you for the heads-up on those orders @Seller_rroWYWFgu113Q
You mentioned that you are using Shipping Settings Automation. Is it possible that the "Shipping Service used to calculate Delivery Promise" is one available on Memorial Day, which should be rare but I believe is possible?
If you can file a Support Case with some example orders and that service, I will check with our partner team about your question.
