Hi, I just happened to come across a listing of ours in our inventory in which the fee looked odd. I click on the estimated fee per unit sold which brings up the revenue calculator. Next I click on the fulfillment fee hyperlink which brings me to a page where it says "Programs: Fulfillment by Amazon, Ships in Product Packaging"
Now, this doesn't make sense because we have never certified this to be SIPP at all, nor would we want to. A nickel savings doesn't make up for the potential damage a product can suffer in transit. Keep in mind that even though this product is in our inventory, it hasn't made it to an FBA warehouse, yet, but it soon will be.
Has anyone else ran into this before? I just don't want amazon shipping anything of ours without a box, especially in exchange for mere pennies.

If there are other sellers on the listing, then it is possible that they enrolled them. We discovered that the setting is at the ASIN level, so if one seller enrolls it, then it is enrolled for all sellers.
It appears some of our items have been auto enrolled also. But we package our items for FBA the same way as we ship FBM. So, usually there isn't an issue.
My product was "auto enrolled" in this and it immediately started to produce removal orders for damaged unsellable products. After I received the first few back I saw the "damage" and "unsellable" condition was caused by Amazon's label being placed directly on my poly bag. My poly bag has my label on it and they can't remove the labels from returns so they deem them unsellable. It took me 15plus back and forth on my opened case re "your labels destroy my product" until I got it removed. The final answer was" it will still show on your listing the product ships SIP but we changed it in the system. Ever since, my removals stopped.

Can you please share a Case ID or other information about any specific ASINs you have enrolled in the program that you believe were auto-enrolled that you do not want to be?
If you choose to unenroll a product from SIPP, you can request to decertify it by contacting Amazon Selling Partner Support. Amazon will review your decertification request within three business days and send a confirmation email that your request is approved.

I am honestly surprised that these are getting certified because the products in question are children's clothing items in a poly bag that has small holes in it to let air out, so it is very possible that the product could be damaged when shipping without any other packaging.
