Read onlyhas anyone been noticing outrageous adjustment fee that end up was more than the original price generated for a shipping , and beside a adjustment fee on shipments that didn’t have nothing to adjust. Amazon is not protecting there own seller and allowing shipping company to charge seller way more from your reserve weeks later after the product reach destination, and there is no safe - T for adjustment. Pay attention people they making it harder and harder to get out stolen money back and easier to take, and much more difficult to address. It’s the perfect combination which can cause seller to go to other platforms to sell their large warehouse of inventory. DHL stole over 372 dollars from me from a sale from weeks ago and hit my reserve the 20th. Still nothing just disgusting way to handle business , look at the picture
honestly thinking about taking some of my inventory listing and transition it to the “other seller central company Wal… “ and just leave the slower inventory on the page if 372 dollars can be stolen out of my reserve account when ever Amazon or dhl , or ups , or usps or whoever feels like it. So I just want to put this out here if no one else is going to I will address this in the forum. Amazon fix this , this is not protecting us, this is giving away our invested money and puts the seller in a week long wait when in the pictures and in your system it’s evident plan site literally
look at this response …….. I’ll will let everyone her judge how this was resolved. A spit in my face and and over $370 stoles and Amazon possible did the unethical thing and took a percentage , they don’t pay every 14 day for the work you throw in , which I feel like it’s against the law in the country but something is just not right with this
Hello from Selling Partner Services.
Can you please share a Case ID or other details about this carrier adjustment?
While differences in weights and dimensions are the most common reason for carrier adjustments, there can be other reasons including packaging/handling fees and fuel surcharges.
Carrier shipping correction charges
If you share the Case ID I can review the case more closely and determine the source of those charges.

Judging by the fact that it was DHL shipment I am assuming that it was an international shipment.
When you use Amazon DHL for international shipments IT IS ALWAYS DDP (Delivered Duty Paid), i.e. you are paying import taxes and duties. It is mentioned somewhere on the buying shipping page in a small letters. This is what the adjustments fees for.
It does not matter that the order was placed on Amazon.com and, according to Amazon policies, it should be buyers responsobility for the fees. Because it is stated on the buying shipping page somwwhere in the corner that Amazon DHL is always DDP , you are responsible for import duties and taxes.
You though that Amazon is doing you a favor by providing this really unexpensive international DHL service? Well, I think these adjustment fees will convince you otherwise
Did you ship with DHL to abroad?
If yes, then that is why it happened.
check who the shipper is. We ship almost entirely with USPS because they rarely do surcharges. The others are ridiculous. Our worst case was after many calls our 9”X 12” was measured by a bit as 7.5 feet. Even when forwarding shipping info and copy of ad did not resolve the issue. Also watch out unpleasant price differences when U is delivering to business.
"Pay attention people they making it harder and harder to get our stolen money back and easier to take, and much more difficult to address." Facts!
When you search for "adjustment fees, "other fee's" you will see there are so many open forum inquires and they get locked in time with NO answer other than "we will investigate"... If you keep on insisting after they investigate they will find the charges, but tell you that amazon does not pay you back for those due to amazon policy.
That is pretty much the end of the conversation. Amazon is the ONLY platform who does this.
Yes, Amazon is helping carriers steal from sellers constantly over the last year or so.
