First Thing:

Coffee, coffee, and even more coffee. It’s essential to kickstart my day!

Last Thing:

To conclude my day, I ensure there are no loose ends. I dedicate at least 30 minutes to prepare for the next morning, organizing everything in a Word document. This practice helps clear my mind and ensures I'm truly ready for what lies ahead.

The following morning, I spend about 15 minutes reviewing my tasks and making any necessary adjustments before heading out to the production floor.

The Word document serves as my comprehensive to-do list. Having everything written down provides clarity amidst the chaos that often surrounds us.

And during those 15 minutes, I make sure to enjoy plenty of that coffee...

We begin by reviewing Feedback Manager and Account Health. This is done daily multiple times, any opportunities are managed immedietly.

After that we follow up on any open cases in SS and Brand Registry.

Next are communications, email, text, Amazon messanger etc....Any priority communications are managed immedietly.

Printing out orders is the next order of business.

Followed by reviewing Ads, typically this is a weekly adjustment of budgets and targeting. Quarterly this can be building out new ad campaigns. Semi Annually we strategize and Annually we review.

Next we look at inventory and see if anything needs to be sent into FBA or needs to be ordered from a supplier. If so we manifest the outgoing and order the incoming.

Yay! Next is pay bills. I take a look at Accounts receivable and accounts payable to see if there are any priorities. Followed up with a look at supplies and reordering those if nessissary.

By then its time for lunch afterwards we begin the pick and pack process followed by our 2pm cutoff for shipping then UPS and USPS come by for there pickups and we pring orders one more time for good measure.

Usually ill check the forums several times during the above process.....

Usually done by 3pm

Start of the day:

Label the Amazon shipments that I packed up the night before, but couldn't print labels because Amazon would think I'm shipping in one day and force me on to that.

End of the day: Pack up all Amazon orders, but don't label them, so that I don't get punished for doing it the night before.

12:30pm-2:00pm- Monitoring shipping process

Enjoying my morning with a delicious cup of coffee while also using one of the products from my store. I like to experience my products myself so I can understand how my customers feel when they use them. That gives me great satisfaction because I truly love them, and I want my customers to feel just as happy and satisfied as I do.

Logging on in the morning and have to deal with some mess that Amazon created.

Just about every day it is something that should not be happening.

False IP claims

FBA not checking in inventory

Cases not being addressed. Get canned answers. Deal with outsourced people who cannot do their job.

Constantly dealing with items being put in the wrong category. WWE gets put into Sports and Outdoors, and Nintendo toys being put in video games. All done by incompetently created bots.

  1. Account Health
  2. Reply to any buyer messages
  3. Check open cases/reply to cases
  4. Do a scroll through the listings to check if anything is down/off not reported on AH

Depending on the day of the week I rotate through several tasks (FBA)

  1. Inventory/ordering
  2. Deep dive listings (images, titles, bullets) making sure nothing has changed
  3. Check the auto changes for brand registry
  4. Check returns & VOC to see if customers are experiencing issues
  5. Check reviews (brand & seller) to see if there are issues
  6. Investigate any issues with our production and make new infographics if something seems confusing with customers

End of the month is sales reports, profit margins, and adjusting pricing as needed.

Every few months I refresh KWs which is spread out throughout the days following. I also check our IP's with brand registry and make sure it isn't being abused.

Downtime (when everything else is done) I spend on the forums!
