Unjust Suspension – No Resolution After 7 Months of Appeals!
After exhausting all possible appeal channels without success, I am reaching out here as a last resort in the hope of finding a resolution.
Why Was My Account Suspended?
My Amazon seller account has been suspended for nearly 7 months under Section 3 of the Amazon Services Business Solutions Agreement due to inauthentic complaints. This happened despite the fact that:
- The product in question was sold only during a 4-month online arbitrage period, during which I purchased it directly from Amazon.com, a marketplace where counterfeit products are not supposed to exist.
- There were zero complaints, negative reviews, or even returns from customers.
- At the time of the suspension, I had already transitioned to working exclusively as an authorized reseller for brands.
I Have Provided Every Document Possible
Despite having every necessary document to prove my legitimacy, I have made zero progress in 7 months. I have submitted:
- Official invoices for the reviewed product
- Bank statements showing payment for the product
- Amazon customer service confirmation proving the product’s authenticity
- Order confirmation, order shipped, and order delivered emails
- Prep center invoice for packaging, labeling, and shipping
- Delivery proof
No Matter What I Do, Nothing Changes
In my desperate attempts to resolve this, I have:
- Submitted dozens of appeals via the Account Health page
- Spoken to Account Health representatives on the phone
- Sent emails to all available Amazon support channels
- Contacted Amazon Seller Support via Twitter
- Even mailed Amazon's legal department
Yet, nothing has changed. Every response simply states that my documents have not been accepted, without explaining why.
A Seller Left in Limbo
The worst part is being abandoned in complete uncertainty. All I want is to run a legal business and make an honest living, yet Amazon has taken away my only source of income with no clear justification.
Amazon, please review my case thoroughly and provide a clear path forward. I am willing to cooperate in any way necessary to resolve this issue and regain access to my account.

"The product in question was sold only during a 4-month online arbitrage period, during which I purchased it directly from Amazon.com"
Did you buy it using your PRIME account?
" Official invoices for the reviewed product"
Amazon provides RECEIPTS, not invoices.
"Every response simply states that my documents have not been accepted, without explaining why."
AMAZON is NOT an authorized wholesale distributor of anything. There is no 'explanation' needed when you did not source properly.
"I am willing to cooperate in any way necessary to resolve this issue and regain access to my account."
Buy a time machine.
Go back to some random date BEFORE you started selling on Amazon.
Then spend MONTHS actually studying Seller U paying particular attention to the SOURCING section.
BUT, since you couldn't be bothered to learn the rules BEFORE you jumped in the River there is nothing that you can do.
Send a nice 'thank you' note to all the YouTube and TikTok video producers that you actually DID watch though. They need some BAD publicity to get them to stop feeding people nonsense.

if the REASON is the only thing you want to know, here it is:
You have no "Letter of Authorization" from the brand owner allowing you to sell his brand on Amazon. That detail is the only thing missing.

Most of what @Seller_kIukTwdhvntApsaid is correct, although unnecessarily patronizing.
To their point, yes Amazon will sometimes use the terminology "Receipt" but you do need an invoice from an authorized distributor, or better yet, the brand or manufacturer.
Referencing @Seller_rI7BZIczK8iAC's point, an invoice will also work in the situation, under the right conditions. I see you make this point a lot in other forums.
To actually assist the OP, here is what I wrote in another forum:
Invoices and LOA's both work in this situation.
An invoice will work if it is from an authorized distributor of the brand or the brand/manufacturer directly and can demonstrate supply chain back to the brand -- This is the part most have an issue with; Using unauthorized distributors or liquidators.
A couple of other requirements are, the invoice(s) need to have sufficient quantity for your last 365 days unit sales on the ASIN level. (eg. if you sold 1000 units of ASIN X in the last 365 days and your invoice shows only 100 units purchased - Rejection).
Also, many people attempt to upload sales orders, packing slips, cash sales etc... you need an invoice clearly labeled "INVOICE" with a corresponding number. Dated, and has all of the distributor information (helps if your sales rep info is on the invoice as well) as well as your business information as displayed on your seller account "business info".
An account health specialist should be able to do a "deep dive" into your documents as the internal team usually leaves comments on why the invoice was rejected (these comments are not visible to you).
Yes, an LOA is more effective, but it is not the only option.

Unnecessary and unhelpful but unfortunately true. Your LOA or invoice will need to be dated before the Complaint ID or IP violation within your performance notifications.
Yet, nothing has changed. Every response simply states that my documents have not been accepted, without explaining why.
After some time of rejecting your documents, Amazon will eventually mark your appeal as auto reject, meaning they are not even seeing or reading it.
- At the time of the suspension, I had already transitioned to working exclusively as an authorized reseller for brands.
If this is true, can your sales rep provide you a LOA or detailed invoice (with last 365 of ASIN level sales) for the ASIN involved with your complaint ID dated before the Complaint ID occurred? If so, GET THOSE DOCS.
You then need get in touch with an account health specialist and let them know that your Complaint ID is in auto reject mode. Once they confirm, they will instruct you to re-submit the documents (and they will get automatically rejected again); However, they can then go ahead and have the case escalated to the internal team which will review the documents.
All I can go by is that it appears that you have not been selling on here very long based on your Forum posts (1 item).
This is a hasty generalization. I have 25 forum posts (now 26 I suppose) and have been here since 2018.

I’ve had similar issues after providing all required documents seriously incompetent people behind the scenes here I am not sure how they remain employed

Amazon’s Policies Cannot Be Arbitrary – Let’s Not Ignore the Contradiction in Sourcing!
Perhaps you’ve seen the comments on my discussion. In summary, they say: "You sourced your products in a way that does not comply with Amazon’s policies, so your account was suspended. You are at fault."
I completely disagree with this statement.
Was This Business Model Allowed Yesterday but Not Today?
If a business model that was acceptable yesterday is suddenly no longer allowed today, who decided this? If policies have changed, there must be a formal update, an official announcement, and a reasonable transition period for sellers. Amazon cannot create new rules just by changing its stance without written policy updates.
Imagine you have been parking your car in the same spot for years. One day, a traffic officer comes and says, "Parking here is now illegal," and tows your car. But there was no official rule change.
- They don’t return your car for at least two months—maybe even longer.
- You still have to pay the towing and storage fees.
- Does this seem fair to you?
What If Amazon Decides to Sell Everything Itself?
If the only valid business model is to source directly from brand-authorized distributors, what happens when Amazon decides, “You’ve been doing it wrong, now only we will sell these products” and shuts down your account?
- Would that make them automatically right?
- Would it be fair for them to seize your inventory and withhold your funds?
- Of course not.
We Are Not the Same as Counterfeit Sellers
It is infuriating to be treated the same as those who manufacture and sell fake versions of branded products.
- These counterfeiters don’t care if their accounts are suspended.
- They source products for almost nothing and make money through fraudulent sales.
- They will simply open a new account and continue their business.
This Is More Than Just a Policy Change
We can tell that this is not just a simple policy change from what has been happening behind the scenes.
During this process, I have met dozens of other suspended sellers, and their cases prove that something is not right.
- Some have invoices from other marketplaces.
- Some have invoices from Amazon.com itself.
- Some have invoices from brand-owned retail websites.
- Some even have wholesale invoices from the brand’s authorized distributors—and some even have LOAs (Letters of Authorization).
Yet, their accounts remain suspended. Something is clearly wrong in the background.
I Still Have Hope
I have been fighting this for seven months because I still believe my account can be reinstated. If I didn’t have hope, I wouldn’t still be here.
