Read onlyToday is Monday 8/12. Since this afternoon, I can't ship using UPS carrier on all UPS options. I kept getting shipping error on all UPS options and are told to use different shipping method. (I'm only able to ship wth USPS and FedEx.) Is anyone experiencing this? I wonder if UPS has ended their contract with Amazon. Any info would be appreciated! Thanks.
Your not the only one! I had an expedited order to fulfill with UPS 2nd Air and I was unable to print ANY UPS labels all day! I tried now and UPS 2nd day air went from 11 to 41 dollars out of nowhere, I have no choice but to purchase a slower USPS label and get dinged for late delivery! I started a case on this and they have yet to respond, ridiculous....
@KJ_Amazon, can we get an update on your end to what is going on?

I reached out to our partner team and shared the information in this thread. Based on the information in this and related threads it looks like UPS was unavailable for a few hours, and when it became available again the rates were higher than expected. Is that accurate?
It would be helpful if one or more sellers can provide more details:
Were you unable to buy UPS services in Buy Shipping, and if so for how long?
When did you see higher UPS rates, and when was the last time you purchased them at other rates?

You're accurate that UPS was unavailable for at least a few hours. For myself I noticed it at night on 8/12/24, but it appears from this discussion and other discussions that UPS shipping was absent since the morning/afternoon of 8/12/24.
I first noticed the higher UPS rates this afternoon (8/13/24) in which a small (8 ounce) package should have only cost $4-5 was $14+.
Not sure on everyone else's timeline.

Hello KJ. My experience at about 9:00pm EST on 08/12 was that I could not buy UPS shipping. The rates would calculate as normal, but when hitting the Buy button I'd get the error message that it couldn't be bought and to try another one. I have screen shots if needed. After 12:00am EST today 08/13 I tried again, and UPS populated again but the rates were almost tripled. A rate for UPS ground under $7 suddenly went to over $15. I can not tell you if the buy button would have worked, because I couldn't pay that much. I was able to buy USPS or FedEx at a lesser rate (but higher than I should have paid for UPS) and still meet my delivery requirements. As of 4:40pm EST today, it is still the extremely high rate. I have had to change my shipping settings, thus losing out on purchases, because paying the higher rates would take up all of my profit.
Also, I did chat with a rep yesterday when this was going on, and they insisted that everything was normal. They refused to acknowledge there was a problem and told me to just buy something else. Then told me three times that UPS doesn't ship to PO boxes, even though my addresses were all street addresses. They then ended the conversation while I was typing a reply. I then chatted this morning after seeing the rate hikes, and it was another conversation like the first, going nowhere.
My UPS rates are now working, with the correct rate displayed and it allowed me to purchase the label.

I am experiencing the same issue and all the shipping options pricing is higher. I opened a support ticket on it on yesterday.
Same here this morning 8/13.
Only options for a next day order are FedEx and there is NO WAY that I will ship with that company and lose my premium shipping.
For UPS, I am offered 3 options that would arrive late.
Next day options are not only unavailable, but also priced retail...

We are also having the same issue since 08/12/2024. It is now 08/13/2024 3:20 PM CST, and we are receiving this error message: "Error occurred while purchasing a label, please try with different ship method"
The only other ship method is USPS priority mail express, which is more than double the price of UPS ground, and exceeds our revenue on the sale.

What are we supposed to do here? Sell at a loss? Ship with a 3rd party and lose OTDR protection and claims protection? Cancel the order? The post office and the UPS store are going to close soon.
We need this fixed Amazon!
Any comment from Amazon? I really hope our account doesn't get shut down from an Amazon system issue.
I have had this issue with selecting UPS since evening of 08/12 as well. I did two different chats and was told everything is working correctly and that I needed to select another method. At that time I kept getting the error msg and could only successfully use USPS. About two hours later I tried again and the UPS rates nearly tripled. A $6 shipment went to over $15. As of 4:30pm on 08/13 they are still tripled.
