Anyone got hit with 145% tariff importing from China yet ?
Just curious has anyone importing from China into US have any shipments arrived after the tariff's took effect. Looks like cell phone and electronics have been exempted from tariffs benefiting big giants like apple. However the small business will have to take the hit.
I heard a lady business lady has a shipment leaving China usually cost around 30K and was told that now it will cost around 200K to get it customs released after paying duties and tariffs the lady stopped the shipment in China as she cannot afford to pay those extra charges.

i know my suppliers are willing to undervalue my shipments...but I have nothing in transit at the moment (thank god).

I was supposed to have three containers of product ready this week. I have put production on hold because no way can my prices sustain the tariff. I wrote to my senators but I have no idea what else I can do.
