Did Bernie Madoff advise Amazon on their new Deferred payment system? I have been a seller for 10+ years with 7 digit sales, and now i am losing 50% of my money to deferred sales so Amazon can use my money to fund their operation. Never saw any seller communication, customer service copy pastes links to their generic response, its sad how terrible they treat sellers on this platform.

The same is happening to me. It seems to have started in October. I currently have $4,000 held up in deferred payments and am hardly receiving any payments. I should be receiving way greater and more frequent payments than I am receiving for the last few months. It's really affecting my ability to operate my business. I am living paycheck to paycheck and just spent all of my business earnings on more inventory so now I have ZERO cash flow available at this point!!! WTH!!!!! I now have to use my own money because I can't get approved for a business credit card and all of my personal cards are maxed out. I don't understand how Amazon treats their sellers like this. I have a family to feed! I just broke $10k in sales in November and still have NO MONEY!!!!!!

Facts. Amazon is getting really really bad. All the money stuck in deffered transactions, amazon giving FULL REFUNDS ON THE 1ST SCAN without knowing what's in the box or without allowing us to receive it to open it, amazon denying SAFE T claims without proper reason EVEN AFTER YOU PROVIDE PICTURE EVIDENCE, then all the customers that lie to get free items and money and we have no way of blocking these scammers, I mean customers, soooo many corrupt things happening inside amazon. I am having a similar issue where the daily uptick in bank balance does not reflect the volume of what is being sold. I am doing good numbers and yet the balance in my account just isn't going up. We don't even pay for advertising within Amazon and use credit card for that so its not being deducted.
I noticed when i pull a report repositary summary for november this year, the sales are 55% less than the number I have on my sales dashboard for that month...
Does this mean sales from black friday etc will actually start to hit the balance this friday ? if so, phew, if not, stressful!

Same here. We have $10000 in my account, but on the settlement day, over $1000 was deducted from my credit card, and the next payment cycle for this account is also written as negative. We don't know why, but all the money in this account is delayed in trading without any communication or choice. This has further increased our burden

It's simple. Amazon is making interest off of the backs of sellers. It was one thing to have deferred payments for FBM orders, but now its for FBA orders as well. They will eventually move away from a bi weekly payout and head toward a monthly payout. Who foots the bill? We the sellers do.

Well, you better get in touch with your State AG and the FTC now. After January 20th, Amazon just keeping the money forever will be legal.
