I suddenly found that all verified purchase reviews under my product were removed. When I contacted the seller support she gave me four “possible” options for reviews removal without specifying which one of them as it’s against Amazon policies to advise the seller about the real reason. Now my product disappeared from first page and all the money that was spent on ads, shipments and handling fees are gone because Amazon believe I have no right to know the reason behind it. Moreover, the customer support decided to end that chat without regret because she believed that I was arguing about the case.
Most often, reviews are removed due to "patterns" such as most of them coming from reviewers that left no other reviews, or left reviews for a certain amount of other products that were flagged as review abuse.
For example, there are websites out there where sellers register their product, people get paid for the product via PayPal and then "buy" it on Amazon and leave a positive review. Then they get to pick more free products. This is rampant and violates policy, as well as US law, as of last year.
Thankfully there are now browser ad-ons that will tell you as soon as you look at a listing, how fake the reviews are or not.
Greetings @Seller_ohLjT0IXCZPdp,
I'm sorry you had these difficulties with these Product Reviews being removed. In general Amazon doesn't share the specific reasons or details on why a Product Review is removed. Seller Support, nor any Amazon team, will be able to provide specific details regarding these internal investigations. I'm sorry for any difficulties this creates. You can learn more via the Answers to Questions about Product Reviews. Thank you for your understanding.
