I need to understand one thing.
Amazon allow customers to edit their reviews, and seller feedback correct? However, it is forbidden for sellers to request if the customer can edit the review? So what is the point of allowing people to give them the option to edit the reviews if we are forbidden to ask? They want us to improve account metrics, but don't want us to engage with customers?
I say this becasue I received a major account health violation regarding this and I had it resolved. Now I am avoiding engaging with customers to get things fixed.. I am trying to understand what Amazon thinks about this?
No, editing not allowed. If the buyer made a mistake, they can remove it entirely, if they want.
Amazon doesn't allow us to do anything that influences buyer reviews in any way. It is the same reason we are not allowed to ask them to leave us a positive review. Amazon stupidly believes buyers are honest.
