URGENT: Am I being charged taxes on Amazon FBA and selling fees in the US as a Canadian?
I started selling a bit in the US using FBA this year (I'm a Canadian).
I've paid 10k$ in selling fees and 4k$ in FBA fees. I assume there are taxes built-in those costs theat I should get back as a business.
Any idea where I can see a break down and see the amount of VAT included in there?

There are no taxes in the fees.
A sales tax is charged to each customer on a US sale and is documented within the order details.

Hello @Seller_MYY5uBmeYyehr,
Thank you for the post. While I am unable to provide specific tax advice, I have provided several resources below with more information on Amazon tax guidelines.
- Canada Tax and Regulatory Considerations
- Tax Guidelines
- State Tax Registration Numbers
- Amazon Tax-Exemption Program
- Marketplace Withheld Tax
After review, if your questions are still unanswered, I recommend that you create a case to Seller Support with your question and they can engage the Tax department.
Have a great week.
Cheers,
