Amazon Transparency codes
If I am A FBM seller and I join a listing that is enrolled in the transparency codes, will I have to upload the codes for every single unit that I sell? I know I have to upload them in order to apply to sell the item, but what happens when I am trying to ship it.
I have heard from some sources that you must provide it when trying to confirm shipment, but a lot of other people have told me that they don't have to confirm anything.

Hi @Seller_6OwwBrG37Gud6,
Yes, according to Amazon's Transparency requirements, you'll need to provide codes for every unit when confirming shipment.
Under the "How to identify Transparency enabled serial numbers on customer orders" section, it mentions that "the number of Transparency codes or serial numbers you upload must match the number of Transparency-enabled items in your order."
When shipping an order, you'll have three options to provide the codes:
- Enter them directly in Seller Central during shipment confirmation
- Upload them via a Shipping Confirmation file
- Use SP-API if you manage orders that way
Best regards,
Michael
