As the seller of record (SoR), you’re the individual identified as selling the product to the end consumer. You set the price, record the purchase as revenue, and assume responsibility for the sales tax on a particular sale. Even when a third party stocks and ships the items, you’re the seller of record because you own the products before they ship to the customer.

Good luck with that :wink:

If you intend to fulfill orders using a drop shipper, you must always:

  • Have an agreement with your supplier that they will identify you (and no one else) As a seller of your products on all packing slips, invoices, external packaging, and other information included or provided in connection with the products;
  • Remove any packing slips, invoices, external packaging, or other information identifying a third-party drop shipper prior to shipping the order;
  • Be responsible for accepting and processing customer returns of your products; and
  • Comply with all other terms of your seller agreement and applicable Amazon policies.

Are you drop shipping? This means that you get an order and have someone else ship the product.

If so, then everything the buyer would see, needs to state that you shipped it. LA Sector at some address shipped the product. The packing slip would show this. The box would not show some other company.

You can follow Amazon’s rules for drop-shipping. Amazon drop-ships. Pretty simple to follow their rules.

A ton of sellers have recently been suspended. They were placing orders on retail sites. The box would arrive to the buyer and it would appear as if it had been sent from that retail site. It would have the name of the site, their logos, the tape on the box would have their logo, etc.
