Adding a replacement item to a current listing

I have an item that I have had listed for many years. I switched factory and was forced to create a new model number and upc. I do not want to loose the reviews and ratings. It is the exact item but I want to keep the same listing. I tried doing the edit and add new condition option but that does not let me update the upc. It only allows me to add the new model number. Please help.

Hello @Seller_MG5CwRyOGOJzz,

Michelle at Amazon here. I understand that your item has a new UPC and new manufacturer. Per Amazons Detail Page Rules policy, you will need to create a new ASIN. Unfortunately, you will not be able to retain the reviews, however, you can use the Newer Version widget to drive traffic from your old ASIN to your new one.

I know that this is not the answer you were hoping for, but thank you for your understanding.

Best wishes,

Michelle
