Discrepancy in Monthly Sales Summary in Amazon Business Reports and the Payout in Payments reports (reports repository)
I've seen multiple cases here reported by other sellers with regards to this issue but no solution was provided. Im also facing the same issue and would to to seek some advice.
For my case in May 2025, our reported sales revenue taken from the Business Reports page shows $7,652 (including small B2B sales), but the product sales shown in the Payment Report (Payments repository) shows that my sales was only $6,367.3. Where did the rest of the $1,284 of my sales go to?? I've checked on deferred transactions and there were no reported deferred transactions for month of May, Amazon system states as all released. As such because the product sales in the payment report is reported lower, after subtracting the expenditures on advertising and fees etc, this means my payout is also lesser than what I would expect - I'm getting paid less that what I should be getting.
This is not a one off issue, I had this issue for the previous month as well, as well on my UK account too. Can anyone tell me why there is such a discrepancy in the reporting and payout? Why is there a difference in the sales reported between the Business report and Payment report? Mind you i checked for the same period duration May 1 - May 31, so where is this unexplained difference coming from? Please help as this issue affects my inventory and payment reconciliation.

Hi @Seller_UndwkPuhcA4GT,
Thank you for bringing this issue to the forums. I'm sorry to hear this issue is continuously impacting your payments, and would like to dig deeper here.
Have you submitted any seller support cases on this matter, the previous month's, or the issue with your UK account? If so, can you please provide them here so I can take a look?
Thank you,
Indy

Hi,
We are facing almost exactly the same issue.
We’ve been selling on Amazon for 4 years and never had trouble reconciling our numbers before. But recently, our payouts do not match the numbers reported in Business Reports, Payment Reports, and even the Advertising dashboards.
In our case, we noticed big discrepancies in the advertising spend:
May 2025: Billed $6,044.57 vs Campaign Manager $4,821.54 → difference of $1,223
June 2025: Billed $5,232.57 vs Campaign Manager $4,618.87 → difference of $614
On top of that, the sales revenue shown in Business Reports does not match the Payment Reports, which directly affects our final payout.
So far, we have around $6,200 missing over the past 3 months — a serious amount.
We’ve been going back and forth with Amazon support, but they keep giving generic answers (like click validation delays or adjustments), and they are not helping at all.
It’s also strange that none of the tools match: the ads dashboard, the invoices, and even our Helium 10 data all show different numbers.
We fully understand your frustration. This is not just a small reporting issue — it’s directly affecting our cash flow and inventory planning.
Let’s keep each other updated if anyone finds a real solution. We definitely need more transparency from Amazon.
Thanks for sharing your case!
