Where do you buy pallets from?

Hi all,

New FBA seller here.

What’s the best place to buy 4-way pallets for shipping inventory to FBA in the US?

Thanks much!

I see them for free on Craigslist all the time. You just have to pick them up.

I’ve never had to purchase a pallet, seriously as both have said above people give them away everywhere!

just sayin, for those getting them for free…grade A pallets are going to 6-8.50 per at the moment. We had people stopping and trying to buy our surplus for as much as $9 per.

I can go to our local garbage transfer station and get pallets for free. There are many bad ones, but I can always find good ones or repair slightly broken pallets. I tend to add more to the transfer station pile than I take. I have a surplus of ~10 pallets a month. At one point I was busting them up for firewood, but I’m too busy these days.

I guess that it depends on the volume… At a certain scale is easier to buy than scrounge.

Same, in LA, San Diego, PHX, all $14-18 per grade A or reconditioned.

You can buy pallets from Home Depot.

Neighbor asked if I had any to spare and stated that in our area they are asking like $20 a pallet.

I have a stack outside my building that a company just comes and gets. The blue and red painted pallets are rented. This company picks them up. Regular ones, there are “the pallet guys” that just drive by and grab them. Some ask during the day. I do not care. If I leave them outside, take them.

Oh, back to the neighbor. There is a stack back there. Take what you need. I help my neighbor. He has helped me in the past.
