Hello everyone,
Just wanting to get some opinions on what others sellers have experienced in similar situations. Hey everyone,
I’m reaching out to see if anyone has experienced a similar situation.
On March 11, 2025, I received an email from Amazon stating that my ASIN XXXX was temporarily deactivated for a Restricted Products review. The email mentioned that if my product does not violate Amazon’s policy, it would be automatically reinstated within 2-4 business days—but as of today (March 17), I have not received any update, and the listing is still inactive.
I contacted Seller Support, and they told me to keep waiting. However, in my experience, most reviews like this are resolved within 24-48 hours, so this delay seems unusual.
For context, my product is a Beauty tool — it does not use microcurrent technology and is not a medical device. I suspect Amazon may have mistakenly flagged it as one, but I have no violations on my account.
Has anyone else dealt with a restricted product review taking longer than expected? If so, how long did it take for Amazon to respond, and did you have to escalate it?
Thanks for any insights!
Same boat here. I had a keyword that the AI bot didn't like and my listing was put under removal on 03/03. I still haven't had a resolution. Now my inventory is stranded, and I was given 30 days before they remove my inventory causing over 6k in losses. I already removed the keyword and don't know why it's taking forever.
Hello @Seller_r2egsKzi6AwQP,
Thanks for posting your inquiry. If you could share your most recent case ID that is related to the review of your product, I'll review to see what options exist for escalation.
Regards,
