Can't add new store

I have an amazon acc in USA and Canada (tho no listings uploaded yet), but getting the following error while trying to add a new store :

"Invalid Access

You do not have permissions to view this page"

Any ideas on why this might have happened and are there any alternative ways to add a new market store to the same account?

Hi @Seller_hacrHWt4ewohz!

I think I can help explain what's happening with your marketplace access. Since you already have accounts in the US and Canada, you shouldn't need to add new stores separately - these marketplaces should be accessible through your existing account.

According to the Global Selling help page, if you sell on one North American marketplace (like Amazon.com), you can sell on other North American marketplaces from the same account. The help page specifically mentions this under "The exceptions are:" section.

Here's what you could try:

First, look for a store dropdown menu at the top right of your seller account where you should see options for US, Canada, and Mexico. If you don't see this dropdown, it might be because this feature is only available for Professional selling accounts, as mentioned in the North America Unified Account FAQ.

Another way to access your marketplaces is through the Sell Globally Dashboard: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/global-selling/dashboard/

One important thing to note - if you have separate accounts for each marketplace, these unfortunately can't be merged. The North America Unified Account FAQ clearly states "Existing accounts in each store cannot be merged. Each selling account will have its own, distinct Unified Account."

Hope this helps! Let me know if you need any clarification.

Best regards, Michael
