That sound like a question for Nike. But good that you know it is Nike you need permission from, not Amazon.

In a recent article on CNN, Nike stated that they are limiting their sales to their own website, and about 40 large retailers, such as D1ck's Sporting Goods. That's 40 for the whole world.

So no, they are not authorizing ANY small sellers to sell on Amazon.

Seems to also be true for Puma and Adidas (not the only 40 stores, but the no sales on Amazon part)

If someone (website, SM, etc.) told you Nike can be sold on Amazon, just follow me, or buy my course, etc. I would suggest you consider filing against them for fraud. The longer these instazoners keeping not getting hurt (financially) the longer they will keep scamming people.

Hello @Seller_ZvGvQ5HPuyQsC,

It is true for some products that require approval Amazon is not currently accepting applications for review. You can review eligibility for any given product by attempting to list it via the Add a Product Tool. Thank you for your understanding.

Most name brand sneaker companies are giving small resellers the boot, Adidas being the most recent.

Soon enough, Amazon will be the only seller Amazon ALLOWS to sell on their website. Move your product elsewhere - where it sells faster, and no PERMISSION is required.

Actually, it IS up to Nike.

That's why anyone trying to sell it gets suspended. They cannot provide suitable authenticity proof, since none of them actually bought through legitimate sources.

Law makers should strengthen the first sale doctrine and heftily fine any cooperation that tries to suppress you from selling any merchandise that you legally bought and own.

Already there. You can legally sell those Nike shoes. No law is stopping you.

Sounds what you are calling for instead is a law to allow you to FORCE Amazon to let you sell Nike on Amazon.

?? Referral fees from third party sellers account for more income than their direct to consumer sales. 3P sellers account for more than half of Amazon's e-commerce revenues. Amazon definitely needs 3P sellers to continue their growth strategy, any deviation will make the stock price plummet.

Not really. Amazon doesn't need small sellers to be honest.. As a company they are making enough money to buy products and sell + ship themselves. Also, with these fees and the cost to advertise small sellers are taking a lost trying to get started. It will not be worth it as time goes on, forcing small sellers to sell else where and smartly, on their own websites.
