Unexplained “Other” Amazon Fees Increasing Daily

I’ve noticed a problem in my account and I’m hoping someone can help explain it.

In my settlement report, the “Other” fees category shows a large deduction (currently –$1,323.15) and the amount keeps increasing every day. However, when I go to “View All Transactions” there are no transactions listed under “Other.”

My subscription fee is clear (–$39.99), but I cannot figure out where the “Other” deduction is coming from or why it’s growing.

Has anyone else experienced this? Does Amazon provide a breakdown for “Other” fees somewhere, or is this possibly an error in the reporting system?

Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

me too, what is this? Another thing I noticed is that on July 7th (which was before the USPS price change) Amazon charged me extra as an adjustment on each item I mailed that day measurements and weights all match with what they stated! None of these items have been returned; extra charges 40 to 75 cents each.

What is this theft going on this site?

Understanding Your Amazon Statement View: A Quick Guide

Hello @Seller_3borFirVwQiDV. The above article includes a section about “Other” categories on the Statement View that may also be useful for reviewing your settlement report.

"We are often asked for more details about the “Other” categories on the Statement View. These sections collect different transaction types that are often shown in detail on the Transaction View. For example: prepaid return labels are shown on the Statement View as an ‘Other’ expense but in the Transaction View as “Transaction type: Shipping services / Product Details: Billing for return postage.” To view the individual transactions covered on the Statement View, click the “View transactions for this period” link, Download the transactions, then sort the results by Transaction type and Product Details. For additional instructions on this topic, check out the Download payment reports help page."

Retrieve Payment Details - Settlement Report

Hello @Seller_3borFirVwQiDV. The above help page has details on the Other categories in that report.

Have you contacted Support requesting more information about those fees? You can also sort the transactions by type to determine which add up to those amounts.

No offense, but I have yet to see through any form of self service and Other / Others charge explained. And when asking seller support it can take months to get an answer that is thorough enough to understand. And if you expect any form of resolution, forget about it because you get pointed to the carrier who then points you back to Amazon.

Wish we could send out invoices for Other/Others and expect businesses to pay them.

Same here. More than $2400 charged as "other". I still haven't gotten an answer to the exact reason more than just "that's a normal charge due to subscriptions and charge backs....." Blah blah blah. I looked at my statements going back to June and i see Zero reason for this "Other" charge. This is just crazy. After getting transferred like 5 times, I'm now at 2 weeks waiting for an actual reason. They also put $2400 in the reserve so my deposit was short almost $5000 last pay period. This should be illegal. I would get sued if I charged my client and just put "Other" as the reason.

I have an active case for just $6.15 in "other" fees.. Each day is "just wait longer while we do internal research" until yesterday when they said "it's a chargeback reconciliation fee for chargebacks"... Only problem is I haven't had a chargeback in 4 years period, and in my ENTIRE SELLING HISTORY I've never been responsible for a SINGLE ONE. That really shocked the idiot who replied to my case. Which now they are back to replying "just wait longer". Case 18344054951 in case anyone wants to bother looking at the nonsense responses I keep getting. it's comical. I'm 99% sure it's a shipping charge... I just wanted to know which order they think I wasn't charged enough for.

Example. Seller ships customer a 5lb package, customer opens a return - Amazon gives them a prep-paid label for a 1# item. Amazon collects the extra postage from seller months later.
